KNRUHS to close web options for mop up round PG medical admissions

Therefore, service candidates whose names are notified in the revised Final Merit list of PG Medical Admissions on the KNRUHS official website are eligible to exercise web options online from a computer with an internet connection.

Eligible service candidates can exercise web options as per eligibility for admission into vacant PG Medical Service Quota seats up to tomorrow, i.e. 08:00 AM on 30 January 2026, through the website, subject to the following conditions-

1 The Candidates who were allotted seats in the previous phases of counselling and have not reported/discontinued the course after joining at the respective college are not eligible for exercising web-options.

2 Candidates who have not exercised web options in the first phase of counselling are also not eligible to exercise web options.

3 The candidates who were allotted PG Medical seats in the previous phases of counselling and joined the course and are continuing in the course are eligible to exercise web options and are informed to exercise web options for PG Medical Degree / Diploma seats.

UNIVERSITY FEE

Allotted Candidates have to pay the university fee of Rs 29,600/- by way of online payment gateway and download the allotment letter. Candidates who have already paid the university fee in the previous phase need not pay again.

TUITION FEE

Tuition fee is to be paid at the respective Medical colleges.

However, the allotment of seats will be made in accordance with the existing Government orders and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon'ble High Court orders. Meanwhile, it is to be noted that all the candidates are hereby informed that the allotments and admissions are subject to the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the pending SLP (C).

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1 The details of vacant Service Quota seats (seat matrix) are placed on the official website of KNRUHS. Candidates can exercise web options for vacant PG Service Quota seats in all Medical Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS through as per eligibility.

2 Competent Authority Service Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Competent Authority Quota Service Quota seats in other Medical Colleges.

3 In view of the reduction of NEET-PG cut-off score, eligible service candidates have been permitted for Mop up phase of counselling and conversion of vacant Service Quota seats to Non-service Quota shall be done after Mop up phase of allotments. After Mop up phase of allotments for service quota seats, the unallotted seats will be added to the respective non-service Quota seats.

4 Candidates are advised to go through the prospectus of KNRUHS and the Government orders on the Rules of PG admissions available on the website before exercising web options for the regulations.

5 Candidates exercising web-options for PG Medical courses are informed that there is no limit on the number of choices for exercising web-options. Candidates can exercise web options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested in joining, as per the candidate’s eligibility.

6 Candidates are advised to exercise web options for PG seats in all courses and colleges in which they are interested to join, irrespective of available seats shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies may arise during counseling process due to sliding of candidates from allotted seats in previous phases of counseling to other seats as per their web options in the Mop up phase of counseling. If candidates are not interested in any subject or college, they should not exercise web options for the same.

7 If a PG seat is allotted in this phase of counselling as per web options exercised by the candidate, the seat allotted in previous phases of counselling will be automatically cancelled and allotted to the other candidate. Therefore, the candidates are informed to exercise web options carefully with awareness of this fact.

8 Candidates can exercise options on the web through a computer, either from home / any other place with internet facility.

9 One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z (for details, read the instructions to the candidates before giving options.

10 Candidates are instructed to take a printout of the saved options.

11 Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after allotment of a seat, if allotted. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on the website after each phase of counselling without fail.

12 The selected candidates shall download the allotment order from the website after payment of the University fee through the payment gateway by using the online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of the respective Medical College on or before the last date specified on the allotment order.

13 Selected candidates have to report at the respective Medical Colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment order, to submit all original certificates, the relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date, the admission will be cancelled automatically.

14 Selected candidates have to report at the respective Medical Colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates, the relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date, the admission will be cancelled automatically and the candidate will be considered as part of seat blocking and the candidate has to pay a penalty of Rs. 50 lakhs and also debarred for 3 years for PG Medical admission under KNRUHS.

15 If the candidate slides to another college during Mop up phase of counselling, the candidates have to get relieved from the previous phase joined college, collect the custodian certificate, fees and report to the Principal of the allotted college before the last date of joining.

16 Candidates are hereby informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.

17 The University fee and other fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
