Last date admission for NEET SS candidates will be 31st December 2023, says NMC
Delhi: Through a recent notice, The National Medical Commission (NMC) has informed the candidates about the starting of the academic session 2023-24 for the Super Speciality Courses.
As per the notice, for the current academic session, i.e. for 2023-24, the Post Graduate Super Special Courses have already commenced from 25.11.2023, and the last date of admission will be 31st December 2023.
The notice informed that while the academic sessions could not have commenced as per PGMER 2000 for the past three years due to COVID-19 situation, the Post Graduate Super Special Courses have already commenced from 25.11.2023 and last date admission will be 31st December 2023
"The Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations-2000 (PGMER 2000), as amended from time to time, stipulates the date of starting of the academic session and duration of Post Graduate courses. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, the academic session(s) for PG courses could not start as per the PGMER-2000 in the past three years," the notice stated
" For the current academic session i.e. for 2023-24, the Post Graduate Super Special Courses have already commenced from 25.11.2023 and last date admission will be 31st December 2023," the notice signed by Aujender Singh, Deputy Secretary, PGMEB added
Currently, NEET SS round 2 of the counselling process is going on. The registration process is over today at 12:00 pm. The payment facility will be available up to 03:00 PM today as per server time. The choice filling is available up to 11:55 PM today. Choice locking facility available from 04:00 PM today up to 11:55 PM today.
The processing of seat allotment will be done on 22nd December 2023. The result will be announced on 23rd December 2023. The result of round 2 will be published on the MCC website. The reporting process will be carried out from 24th December 2023 till 31st December 2023.
Post-Graduate Medical Education Board determine the standards of medical education at the postgraduate level and super-specialty level in accordance with the regulations made under this Act and oversees all aspects relating thereto. It develops a competency-based dynamic curriculum at the postgraduate level and super-speciality level in accordance with the regulations made under this Act, with a view to develop appropriate skills, knowledge, attitudes, values and ethics among postgraduates and super-specialists to provide healthcare, impart medical education and conduct medical research.
