Maha CET Cell extends NEET PG Counselling registration deadline

Maharashtra: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has extended the NEET PG counselling registration process for the academic year 2025.

This decision will allow the candidates more time to complete their application, fee payment, and document upload. The decision follows the Medical Counselling Committee’s (MCC) extension for All India Quota (AIQ) counselling.

According to a Notice issued by the CET Cell Maharashtra in this regard, candidates can now complete their online registration, payment, and uploading of scanned original documents for MD, MS and Diploma courses until November 11, 2025, 11:59 PM. The extended schedule applies to both State Quota and Institutional Quota admissions. Below is the detailed revised schedule-

Uploading of all required Colored Scan Original Documents in PDF format after successful Payment (It is mandatory to upload the documents within the given period).

However, the revised schedule for CAP Round 1 will be declared later. The notice also mentions that the schedule is subject to changes based on directions from the MCC, Central Government, State Government, or courts.

STEPS TO REGISTER FOR MAHARASHTRA NEET PG COUNSELLING 2025

STEP 1- Go to the website of Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 Counselling.

STEP 2- Click on the Login/Registration tab.

STEP 3- Click on the ‘Registration’ tab under the ‘New User’ section.

STEP 4- Enter name, email address, choose a password and date of birth and click on the ‘Register’ tab.

STEP 5- Log in with the registration credentials and complete the process.

STEP 6- Upload documents and pay the registration fee in online mode.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1 Candidates should also ascertain her/his eligibility for admission to the various courses before filling up the registration form.

2 Candidates should upload all the requisite original scanned documents to support their claim. It is mandatory to upload the documents.

3 PWD candidates should have claimed the quota at the time of NEET registration. They should submit an Online PWD certificate issued by any one of the 16 designated boards.

4 EWS certificate in State format will only be accepted. EWS certificate in the central format will not be accepted for the purpose of admission.

5 NRI candidates should register on the Foreign Candidate Registration Portal before 10/11/2025 for verification of candidates' eligibility. The subsequent schedule will be as above.

6 Candidates belonging to the reservation category must claim so in the application form before submitting the same.

7 NRI candidates should note that they are eligible only for the 15% Institute Quota as per merit.
