Maha CET Cell issues Instructions to admitted Round 1, 2 NEET PG Candidates of State Quota Counselling, Details

Maharashtra: Through a written notice, the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released Instructions to admitted Candidates of State Quota during Round - 1st & Round - 2nd Counselling.

Directorate of Health Services, Government of India, has issued an advisory regarding NEET-PG Counselling for States Counselling Authorities and participating candidates in NEET-PG-2021 Counselling.

All the candidates participating in NEET-PG-2021 Counselling for State Quota Seats should note following:

1. All the candidates, who have joined during 1st Round or 2nd Round of All India Quota Counselling and pursuing, will not be eligible for further round(s) of Counselling of NEET-PG-2021 State Quota Seats.

2. All the candidates, who have allotted a seat during MoP UP Round of AIQ Counselling will not be eligible for further Round(s) of Counselling of NEET-PG2021 State Quota Seats.

3. The candidates holding a seat after Round 2 of State Counselling are advised to not take part in the MoP UP Round of AIQ Counselling.

4. As per rule No.14.13 of NEET-PG-2021 Information Brochure of State of Maharashtra, the candidate who have joined during Round 1st or Round 2nd of State Counselling and Pursuing, will be eligible for betterment during Subsequent Round(s) of Counselling of NEET-PG-2021 State Quota Seats.

5. As per the Rule no. 19.1 of NEET-PG-2021 Information Brochure of Maharashtra State the prescribed date to Cancel/Resign a seat allotted during Round 1st or Round 2nd of State Counselling is 22nd March, 2022 upto 05:00 pm. If a candidate resigns a seat allotted during 1st or 2nd Round of State Counselling, such a candidate will not be eligible for any Subsequent CAP Round(s) of NEET-PG-2021 State Quota Counselling.

6. If any candidates Cancel/Resign the allotted seat after the prescribed date i.e. 22nd March, 2022 after 05:00 pm, he/she is liable for PENALTY as per rule no. 21.1 & 21.2. of the NEET-PG-2021 Brochure.

Note: For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling, all participating institutes/colleges are directed to treat all Saturdays/Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days.
