Maha CET Cell Postpones CAP Round II For NEET PG, NEET MDS Admissions

Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has postponed the second CAP Round - II for Government/ Corporation/ Government Aided /Unaided Private/Minority Dental/Medical Colleges for NEET PG and NEET MDS admission.

As per notice dated 20th October 2022 for NEET PG CAP Round-II for Government/ Corporation/ Government Aided/ Unaided Private/ Minority Medical Colleges is to be declared on 30th October 2022, and notice dated 18th October 2022 for NEET MDS CAP Round-II for Government/ Corporation/ Government Aided/ Unaided Private/ Minority Dental Colleges is to be declared on 29th October 2022.

All India Quota round -II joining is extended until 28th October 2022. The list of joined candidates of AIQ is not received yet. For NEET PG, the list of eligible in-service candidates is not received from DHS. Maha CET Cell has postponed round 2 of NEET PG and NEET MDS admission until further. The revised schedule for CAP round- II will be declared in due course.

The allotment process will be done based on the merit list, choices, and the availability of seats. The candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be called for the counselling process. The counselling process is carried out in two rounds, i.e., round 1 and round 2. A mop-up round will be carried out if seats remain vacant after round 2.

Eligibility criteria –

NEET PG –

1. Candidate must be an Indian National.

2. Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except NRI quota seats in Unaided Private and Private Minority Medical Colleges, subject to fulfilment of NRI status and other relevant eligibility criteria.

3. The candidate must have passed the final MBBS degree course examination from Maharashtra State College and completed one year of internship training by 31st July 2022 from a recognized medical college.

4. The candidate should be NEET PG qualified.

NEET MDS –

1. Candidate must be an Indian National.

2. Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except NRI quota seats in Unaided Private and Private Minority Medical Colleges, subject to fulfilment of NRI status and other relevant eligibility criteria.

3. The candidate must have passed the final BDS degree course examination from Maharashtra State College and completed one year of internship training by 31st July 2022 from a recognized dental college.

4. The candidate should be NEET MDS qualified.
