Maha CET Cell Releases Schedule For Special Stray Vacancy Round For NEET PG Admission

Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has released the NEET-PG-2022 schedule for extended stray vacancy counselling for government/government-aided/corporation medical colleges and private unaided/minority medical colleges. The provisional selection list for government/government aided/corporation medical colleges and seat matrix and eligible for list private unaided/minority medical colleges has also been released.

Detailed schedule –

Government/Government Aided/Corporation Medical Colleges -

1. Physically joining period for the selected candidate to respective college by submitting Original documents and deposition of requisite fees – till 14.1.2023

2. Cutoff date for admission - 14.1.2023

All Selected Candidates must submit all Original Requisite Documents and Fees in the form of DD/Cheque to the allotted institute. If the candidates cannot submit DD due to Bank Holiday, they may pay the fees by Cheque and replace the same on the next Bank working day.

Private Unaided/Minority Medical Colleges –

1. Submission of Application to respective Institute/College in person/ any person with photocopies of documents (Application Format will be available on State CET Cell Website) – 12.1.2023 up to 05.30 pm

2. Publication of Merit List, Selection list &Waiting list on the Notice Board and website of respective College/Institute – 12.1.2023 after 6.00 pm

3. Physically joining period for the selected candidate to respective college by submitting Original documents and deposition of requisite fees – 13.1.2023 up to 5.30 pm

4. Publication of list of admitted candidates and Residual Vacancy (if any) on notice Board & Website of respective College/Institute – 13.1.2023 up to 6.00 pm

5. Reporting of Waitlisted Candidates for Residual Vacancy at Respective Institutes – 14.1.2023 up to 1.00 pm

6. Physically Joining of Selected Candidates for Residual Vacancy by personal counselling as per merit – 14.1.2023 2.00 pm onwards

7. Cutoff date for admission – 14.1.2023

Institutional Stray Vacancy Round is only for Private Unaided/Minority Medical colleges, and seats remain vacant after 2.12.2022. All the admission at institutional stray vacancy rounds should be done per the Rules of NEET PG- 2022 Information brochure.

It will be the institute's responsibility to verify and ascertain the candidate's eligibility as per respective Central Council rules before admitting the candidate, even if the name appears in the list of ELIGIBLE candidates. For this round, eligible and interested candidates should approach the Dean/Principal of the respective colleges within the prescribed time and submit applications for vacant seats in person or any person. Such applications should not be submitted in the State CET Cell in person or by email.


For admission, during this round, the college / Institution should form a Committee of four members under the Chairmanship of the Dean/Principal to supervise the admission process. It should display on its website & Notice of board Vacancy Position, an Applicants List, a Merit list, a List of selected candidates, and a Waiting list as per schedule.

The Rules of Ear Marking should be followed if two PG seats in the State quota in the same subject (One in Reserve and the other in Open Category) are available. Please refer to Annexure ''C '' Page No 44 to 46 of the NEET PG 2022 Information brochure. The rule of inter-se should be strictly followed if any reserve category seat remains unfilled. Please refer to Annexure ''C'' page 44 to 46 of the NEET PG 2022 Information brochure.

At the time of admission during the Extended institutional stray vacancy round, a candidate should submit all his original documents and requisite fees in the form of DD/Cheque during the prescribed time limit. The candidate's sole responsibility is to submit all his original documents and requisite fees at the time of admission. If the candidates cannot submit DD due to Bank Holiday, they may pay the fees by Cheque and replace the same on the next Bank working day.

The admission process should be completed before the cutoff date prescribed for each course that is declared by the respective Central Council and Competent Authority from time to time. All admissions are subject to the approval of the Admissions Regulating Authority after the Cutoff date. The college should upload the information about the admitted candidate in the College Feedback Module of the State CET Cell.

If any candidate is not registered with STATE CET CELL and admitted during the institution-level round, such a candidate's admission will not be approved by Admission Regulation Authority (ARA).
