Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has announced the counselling details and provisional vacancy position for Mop-Up round 3 and institutional level 2, a list of eligible candidates for institutional level 2 and a selection list for Mop-Up round 3 for PG Medical courses.

Schedule of Mop-Up round 3 counselling for government/government aided/corporation colleges –

1. Period for joining and filling status retention form to the selected college – till 7th May 2022, 6:00 pm.

2. Last date of admission as decided by NMC/MCC – 7th May 2022.

The schedule for institutional level round 2 for private unaided/minority medical colleges –

1. Submission of application to respective institute/college in person/ any person with photocopies of documents – 5th May 2022, 4:00 pm.

2. Publication of merit list/selection list/wait list - 5th May 2022, 5:00 pm.

3. Physically joining period for selected candidate to respective college by submitting original documents and deposition of requisite fees – 6th May 2022, 5:00 pm.

4. Publication of residual vacancy (if any) - 6th May 2022, 6:00 pm.

5. Reporting of waitlisted candidates for residual vacancy at respective institutes – 7th May 2022, 3:00 pm.

6. Publication of merit list & selection list of reported candidates for residual vacancy - 7th May 2022, 4:00 pm.

7. Physically joining of selected candidates for residual vacancy – 7th May 2022, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

8. Last date of admission as decided by NMC/MCC – 7th May 2022.

Further has been notified that the institutional round is only for private unaided/minority medical colleges and for seats remaining vacant after the revised Mop-Up 1 round. 2. All the admission at the Institution level will be done as per the rules of the NEET PG 2021 information brochure.

The institute will verify and ascertain the candidate's eligibility as per respective Central Council rules before admitting the candidates, even if the name appears in the list of eligible candidates. For the institutional round, eligible and interested candidates should approach the Dean/Principal of the respective colleges within the prescribed time and submit applications for vacant seats in person or any person. Such applications should not be submitted to the State CET Cell in person or by email. Such applications submitted in State CET Cell will not be considered valid for any institutional level admission process.

Maha CET Cell has asked the institution to form a Committee of four members under the Chairmanship of the Dean/Principal to supervise the admission process. Institutes are asked to display on their website and notice board vacancy position, applicants list, merit list, list of selected candidates, waiting list as per schedule.

The Rules of Ear Marking should be followed if 2 PG seats in State quota in the same subject (One in Reserve and the other in Open Category) are available. The rule of inter-se should be strictly followed if any reserve category seat remains unfilled.

The institution can fill any vacancy arising due to shifting candidates from private medical college to government/ corporation medical college in Mop-Up round 3. Such vacancy should be immediately informed to the competent authority.

Any candidate is if shifted from private medical college to government/ corporation medical college due to betterment or any reason by order of competent authority, such candidate should be immediately relieved if the candidate desires so without any penalty.

The admission process should be completed before the cut-off date prescribed for each course declared by the respective Central Council and competent authority from time to time. All the admissions are subject to the approval of the admissions regulating authority after the cut-off date. The institute should upload the information about the admitted candidate in the college feedback module of the State CET Cell.

Candidates note that if they are not registered with State CET Cell and admitted during the institution-level round, then their admission will not be approved by the admission regulation authority.
