MBBS Admissions 2023: Check out Top 15 Medical Colleges in Odisha
Odisha: NEET UG counseling in Odisha is a state-centralized online counseling process for MBBS admissions. The counseling procedure will be based on the candidate’s NEET scorecard. It is conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). A candidate can apply to various state government and private medical colleges.
For 2023 the counseling schedule is yet to be announced. It will be announced once the final results are declared for NEET. This year the NEET exam was conducted on 7th May 2023 nationwide. The provisional answer key has been declared on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The final results are yet to be declared.
A total of 2 rounds will be conducted along with the mop-up round for the MBBS admission process. A stay vacancy round will be conducted if needed only when all the seats available are not filled up till the mop-up round. The candidates must fill in their choices based on their college preferences during the counseling process. The seats will be allocated based on the NEET UG scorecard, choices filled, reservation criteria, and seats available.
