MBBS Admissions in Karnataka: 1442 seats up for grabs in mop up round, Check out details
Karnataka: Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA) has released the seat matrix under various quotas for MBBS admissions in mop up round.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts counselling for undergraduate courses, which includes MBBS/ AYUSH/ Dental Degrees based on NEET UG score/ rank list. KEA conducts counselling for 85% state quota and 100% private colleges seats.
1442 seats have been allotted under various quotas for UG medical courses.

A seat allotment list is prepared based on the merit of a candidate and the choices filled by the candidates. Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the counselling and wish to continue with the same seat need to confirm their choice on the official website of KEA.
The Mop-Up round will be conducted for all categories of available seats and the vacant/cancelled seats after round 2 allotments. Candidates who have not joined in rounds 1 or 2 of the mop-up round of AIQ, including counselling for deemed universities, not allotted clinical seats in the round of state counselling, and allotted pre or para clinical seats for clinical seats only can participate in this round.

NEET UG counselling is held online for admission across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. The counselling comprises two rounds and a mop-up round which is conducted if any seats are left vacant after round 2. The whole counselling process will be held online and conducted in 4 stages: registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting.
