Karnataka: Through a written notice, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has informed that the last date for registration and verification of documents for NRI and NRI-Ward candidates will be 28th January 2022.

According to KEA, one final chance is given to the candidates to register and verify documents due to COVID restrictions. Candidates must carry all the documents in original copy to the verification centre. They can report at KEA Bangalore between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm to claim NRI and NRI- Ward and get eligibility.

Initially, the verification was conducted between 6th January 2022 to 14th January 2022 for admission to Medical/Dental/Ayush courses. The candidates who couldn't appear between these were asked to appear on 24th January 2022.

Verification of documents will be carried out in order of the ranks obtained by the candidates. Before reporting to the centre, candidates will have to confirm the rank range, date and time of verification. The officials at the verification counter will verify all the original documents, and the self-attested copies will be retained.

Karnataka NEET UG 2021 counselling will be held online for admission to various Medical/Dental/Ayush courses. The counselling process has 2 rounds and a mop-up round conducted if any seats are left vacant after the 2nd round. The counselling will be conducted in 4 stages: registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting. All these stages are equally important for those applying for Karnataka NEET 2021 counselling.

NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must be a citizen of India.

2. Candidate must have qualified NEET 2021.

3. Candidate must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from an institute located in Karnataka and must have studied for a period of 7 years from a government school in Karnataka or must have studied for a period of seven years from an institute located in Karnataka for Government seats.
