New Dehli: Through a recent notice the Medical Counselling Committee has issued some instructions for candidiates applying to the ESIC Insured Persons Quota seats in the MBBS admissions, and appearing in the ongoing counselling for AIQ seats 

With respect to ESIC Insured Persons Quota seats which have been added in the Seat Matrix of Round-2 as per the information received from ESIC, it is informed as under:

1. All those candidates present in the list provided by ESIC will be allowed for Choice Filling of ESIC's Insured Persons seats irrespective of their admission status (Allotted/ Admitted).

2. Eligible IP Quota candidates who are admitted in Round-1 and have not applied for upgradation will be auto upgraded by default and shown Insured persons seats in Round-2 of counseling so that they are able to exercise choice for these seats.

3. Candidates who have NOT Registered for Round-1 of counseling but are eligible for IP Quota seats will be allowed to register by activating the link of ESIC Registration in Round-2.

4. All eligible candidates as per list provided by ESIC who have registered in Round-1 or have given willingness for upgradation in Round-1during reporting will be shown ESIC seats by default.

The Round 2 counselling session which was supposed to have commenced from 18th November 2020, began from yesterday 20th November.

Earlier, the MCC had notified all the candidates who want to avail the benefit of Insured Persons quota of ESIC (Wards of Insured Persons of ESIC) about the further NEET Counselling procedure for MBBS and BDS admissions this year. The MCC further notified about the revised Bond Conditions as received from ESIC authorities as well as the MBBS and BDS fee structure for the candidates under Insured Persons quota of ESIC.
