MCC announces rounds 5, 6 NEET counselling schedule for BDS, BSc Nursing admissions, check details
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has released the schedule for the upcoming rounds of NEET UG 2026 counselling, bringing clarity to candidates awaiting further opportunities for admission to undergraduate medical, dental and nursing courses.
As per the official schedule, MCC will conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS admissions and the fifth and sixth rounds of counselling for BDS and BSc Nursing seats in November. The committee has also announced the schedule for the sixth round of BDS and B.Sc Nursing counselling.
For candidates still hoping to secure a seat, the newly announced schedule outlines the registration, fee payment, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment and reporting timelines.
According to the schedule, registration and payment for the Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS and the fifth round of BDS/B.Sc Nursing counselling will begin on November 2, 2026, and continue until November 4, 2026. Candidates can complete registration until 3:00 PM on November 4.
The payment facility will be available from 10:00 AM on November 2 until 6:00 PM on November 4. Below is the detailed schedule-
