MCC Extends NEET SS Counselling 2024 Round-1 Reporting Deadline
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the Reporting deadline for Round-1 of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Super Speciality (NEET SS) Counselling for the academic year 2024. This has been informed through an official notice by MCC.
Now the reporting process for Round 1 of the NEET SS Counselling 2024 has been extended upto 05:00 PM of 28th May, 2025. Through the notice, MCC has informed all Super Speciality candidates that due to many requests being received from candidates, the competent authority has decided to extend the reporting time for Round-1 of SS Counselling 2024 upto 05:00 PM of 28th May, 2025.
Earlier, the institute's reporting process was scheduled till May 26, 2025. The NEET SS counselling 2024 process started on May 22, 2025. NEET SS 2024 counselling round 2 will begin from June 2, 2025. Below are the details-
ROUND-2
a Fresh New Registration for Round-2 for those candidates who
i Have not registered in Round-1 (with full payment of fees).
ii Have not reported in Round-1, will have to register again (with full payment of fees).
b Fresh Choice filling Round-2.
c Process of Seat Allotment Round-1.
d Publication of results of Round-2 on the MCC website.
e Reporting at the allotted Medical College/institute against Round 2.
*Round-2 will be an Upgradation Round. Candidates desirous of upgrading their seats from Round-1 will have to exercise fresh choice filling to upgrade in Round-2.
STRAY ROUND
GROUP I- Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotted during Round 1 or Round-2.
GROUP II- Candidates who have not reported at the allotted institute during Round-1- 1 or Round-2 and taken exit with the forfeiture option. Such candidates are eligible for participation in the Stray Round of the counselling by making a fresh payment (registration and security deposit).
GROUP III- Candidates who did not register in earlier rounds and are registering for the first time in the Stray Round.
