MCC NEET 2026 round 1 counselling final results OUT
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the final result of the NEET UG Round 1 counselling for the academic year 2026-27.
The candidates who participated in the NEET UG Round 1 counselling 2026 can check the final result as declared on the MCC's official website. With this, candidates may now proceed to report to their allotted college.
Through a notice issued by the MCC in this regard, the committee has informed to all the UG participating candidates for Round 1 that, as per Chapter 2 of the UG Information Bulletin, under “Changes in Allotment, Reporting, Upgradation & Withdrawal (Resignation) of Allotted Seat,” the Freeze and Float options have been introduced to make the counselling process more convenient and hassle-free for candidates.
FREEZE
No Upgradation. (Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats and do not want to upgrade in the next round (i.e. Round 1 to Round-2 or Round-2 to Round-3) will fall under this category. Candidates who want to join the allotted seat will have to visit the allotted institute physically for joining.
FLOAT
Candidates who have been allotted a seat but wish to upgrade in the next round (i.e. Round 1 to Round2 or Round-2 to Round-3) will fall under this category. They will give their willingness for upgradation and will have to upload the required documents for online document verification by the allotted Institute. (There is no need to visit the allotted institute physically).

As per the result, a total of 29946 candidates have been allotted in the NEET UG Round 1 Counselling 2026. These results are for seat allotment for MBBS and BDS admissions under 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats.
The result includes important details such as Rank, Allotted Quota, Allotted Institute, Course, Alloted Category, Candidate Category and Remarks.
Meanwhile, according to the NEET UG 2026 Counselling revised schedule for the AIQ seats, the candidates can report/join their seats from 22nd August to 31st August, 2026. Institutes will verify the data of the joined candidates on 1st September 2026.
