Earlier, as per the notification issued to this effect by the MCC on its website, the AIQ counselling body had taken the decision considering that the National Medical Commission (NMC) is still in the process of issuing new Letters of Permission, LoP's to the medical colleges for this academic year. Thus, the MCC rescheduled the NEET PG counselling so more MD, MS or PG Diploma seats can be added to the seat matrix accordingly.

At that time, the counselling process for set to begin from September 1st.
