New Delhi :  The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced an extension in the payment and choice filling/locking schedule for Round 1 of the NEET SS  Counselling 2024. The decision comes in light of multiple complaints from candidates regarding issues in the reflection of registration fee payments.

Registration Fee Payment Issue and Extension of Schedule – Round 1 of SS Counselling 2024.

It has come to the notice of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) that several candidates participating in the Super Specialty (SS) Counselling 2024 are facing issues related to the non-reflection of registration fee payments.

Hence, it has been decided by the competent authority to extend the Payment and Choice Filling/Locking facilities as per the revised schedule below:  

Registration

Payment Facility 

Choice Filling/ Locking

(as per Server Time) will

be available up to 12:00 NOON of 18.05.2025 

Payment Facility will be available till

04:00 P.M of 19.05.2025 

Choice Filling available till 11:55 P.M of

19.05.2025 and Choice Locking Facility

will be available from 08:00 P.M of

19.05.2025 till 11:55 P.M of 19.05.2025  

Candidates are advised to complete the necessary actions within the extended timeline to ensure their participation in Round 1 of SS Counselling 2024. 

As per the information bulletin, there will be three rounds of NEET SS AIQ online counselling, i.e. Round 1, Round 2 and Stray Round. All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats based on their rank in NEET SS conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) will be eligible. Eligible candidates may download the Rank letter/ Result from the NBE website.

ROUND 1

1 Main counselling Registration, which will include payment of a Non-Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit (to be refunded only into the account from which payment has been made).

2 Exercise of Choices and Locking of Choices.

3 Process of Seat Allotment Round-1.

4 Publication of results of Round-1 on the MCC website, Reporting at the allotted Medical College/institute against Round-1.

ROUND-2

a Fresh New Registration for Round-2 for those candidates who

i Have not registered in Round-1 (with full payment of fees).

ii Have not reported in Round-1, will have to register again (with full payment of fees).

b Fresh Choice filling Round-2.

c Process of Seat Allotment Round-1.

d Publication of results of Round-2 on the MCC website.

e Reporting at the allotted Medical College/institute against Round 2.

*Round-2 will be an Upgradation Round. Candidates desirous of upgrading their seats from Round-1 will have to exercise fresh choice filling to upgrade in Round-2

STRAY ROUND

Subject: Eligibility for Stray Round of SS Counselling 2024

A. Who are eligible for Stray Round of SS Counselling 2024

Group–I: Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotted during Round-1 or Round-2.

Group–II: Candidates who have not reported at the allotted institute during Round- 1 or Round-2 and taken exit with forfeiture option.
Such candidates are eligible for participation in Stray Round of the counselling by making fresh payment (registration and security deposit).
Group–III: Candidates who did not register in earlier rounds and are registering for the first time in Stray Round.
B. Who are not eligible for Stray Round of SS Counselling 2024
Group- I: Candidates who are holding a seat in Round-1 or Round-2 of All India counselling and have obtained seat in Tamil Nadu State Counselling.
Group- II: Allotted candidates of Round-2 will not be able to participate in Stray Round
