MCC Notifies On Eligibility Guidelines for NEET SS 2024 admissions at AFMS, Details
New Delhi- Through a notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed regarding the eligibility criteria for admission in AFMS Institutions for the Superspeciality courses through the common counselling by the DGHS, MOHFW, based on the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Super Speciality (NEET SS) exam for the academic year 2024.
As per the notice, the counselling for AFMS institutes for Super Specialist training is for the Category I, II and III categories. Below are the details-
CATEGORY I- Serving AFMS officers.
CATEGORY II- Ex-SSC AFMS officers & Medical officers sponsored by Paramilitary Forces / other Government of India organisations
CATEGORY III- Civilian doctors.
Through the notice, it is further intimated that only those civilian candidates may be made eligible for admission for Super speciality Courses in AFMS institutes, who are less than 30 years of age as on 31 Dec 2024.
The common counselling for all seats of NEET-SS at the National level will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), MoHFW. Hence, all eligible candidates desirous of admission to superspeciality courses (DM/MCh/DNB(SS) in AFMS institutions for the 2024 session will have to register mandatorily on the portal for Super Speciality counselling on the official MCC website.
