New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice for institutes and candidates participating in the NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025, announcing key changes to the Round 2 seat matrix following the temporary halt in the counselling process earlier this week.

The update comes in continuation of MCC’s earlier notice when Round-2 counselling was paused to allow correction and reconciliation of seat data submitted by participating institutions. Therefore, according to the official notice, MCC has implemented three major updates to the Round-2 seat matrix-

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that all colleges/participating institutes that have contributed seats in round 2 are requested to kindly verify the seat matrix of their institutes before the processing of results. Any information regarding seat discrepancy/duplicate contribution after the seat processing of Round-2 will not be entertained by MCC.
