MP DME Releases Counselling Schedule For Round 2 NEET Admissions

Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Madhya Pradesh) released the counseling schedule for round 2 NEET UG admissions.

Detailed schedule –

1. Publication of Vacancy chart & Eligible Candidates list for Second Round - 16-11-2022

2. Fresh choice filling & choice locking (Compulsory for all candidates who want to participate in the second round, including admitted candidates of the first round who have opted for up-gradation) - 17-11-2022 to 20-11-2022 (Midnight)

3. Allotment result - 23-11-2022

4. Reporting at allotted Medical/Dental college in person for documents verifications and admission - 24-11-2022 to 30-11-2022 (5:00 pm)

5. Opt for upgradation through the candidate's login after admission - 24-11-2022 to 30-11-2022 (Midnight)

Seat leaving bond will be applicable if a candidate wishes to resign. The resignation will be at the admitted college level.

Further, DME has informed all allotted candidates of round 1 that the last admission date has been extended up to 11.11.2022 (6:00 pm).

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, is responsible for conducting the MP NEET UG 2022 admission. The DME will conduct NEET UG 2022 counseling for 85% of state quotas in government colleges as well as 100% of seats in private colleges. The remaining 15% of seats will be filled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) through centralized counseling in 2022.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidates must be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2022.

2. The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English as core subjects.

3. The candidates must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

4. The candidates have to be NEET UG qualified.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) has been conducted by NTA since 2019 for admission to undergraduate medical education, with the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and MHRD.

The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in the state.

Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that DME announced the second round of allotment opening and closing and the provisional allotment list for NEET PG and NEET MDS admission. The candidates whose names are on the allotment list were asked to report at the allotted college in person for document verifications and admission from 05-11-2022 to 08-11-2022 (06:00 pm).
