Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME MP) has released the revised schedule for the mop-up round for NEET PG and NEET MDS courses.

Candidates not registered for counseling can do fresh registrations up to 14-09-2023 (12:00 Midnight). Candidates who are already registered are not required to register again. Publication of the revised merit list of registered candidates, eligible candidates list, and vacancy chart will be done on 16-09-2023.

Fresh choice filling and choice locking for the mop-up round can be done from 17-09-2023 to 19-09-2023 (12:00 Midnight). Mop-up round allotment result will be declared on 22-09-2023. Reporting at the allotted college in person for document verifications and admission can be done from 23-09-2023 to 29-09-2023 (06:00 PM).

The changes have been made in the date of publication of the revised merit list of registered candidates, eligible candidates list, vacancy chart, and the start date of the choice-filling process.

The candidates note that fresh choice filling is a must. Candidates who opted for upgradation and do not exercise fresh choice filling will not be considered for allotment and shall remain admitted to the previous medical college.

The Director of Medical Education takes care of the NEET PG and NEET MDS counseling process. The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in the state.

Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that DME has begun the mop-up round counseling process for NEET UG courses. A total of 923 seats are vacant for MBBS and BDS courses. MBBS has 194 seats, and BDS has 729 seats vacant. Most of the seats are vacant for BDS courses in private colleges.
