MP DME to close NEET counselling mop up round registrations tomorrow, choice filling begins October 15th, check details

Madhya Pradesh: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, is soon going to close the registration process for the State Mop-Up Round counselling for the NEET UG 2025 admissions to MBBS and BDS courses.

As per the revised tentative schedule, Fresh registration and online resignation will be held till October 13, followed by the publication of vacancies on October 14 and choice filling from October 15 to 16.

The mop-up round result will be declared on October 18, and selected candidates must report to allotted colleges between October 22 and 27, 2025, for document verification and admission.

In another notice, the MP DME has informed all the participating candidates that, as per the schedule declared by MCC, the allotment result of All India quota 3rd round is slotted to be declared on 11.10.2025. Therefore, the last date for resignation from the admitted seat of first and second round through State counselling will be 13.10.2025 (05:00 PM). As per rule the penalty of Rs. 2 Lacs will be applicable for such candidates.

"Candidates willing to resign must ensure their presence in the admitted college within the stipulated time schedule. No request will be entertained for the extension of resignation time," the notice added.
