MP PG medical admissions 2025: DME to close mop up round registrations soon, resignation, upgradation deadline extended
Madhya Pradesh: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, is soon to conclude the fresh registration process for the Mop-Up Round of the MP State National Eligibility and Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) Counselling for the academic year 2025 for MD/MS courses.
According to the schedule released by the MPDME in this regard, the fresh registration process for new candidates who have not registered earlier opened from December 29, 2025 and is going to end on January 3, 2026 (till 11:59 PM). Candidates who are already registered in previous rounds will not be allowed to re-register or edit their registration details.
Following this, the revised merit list of registered candidates, along with the eligible candidates list, will be published on January 7, 2026, the same day the remaining vacancy chart for the Mop-Up round will also be displayed. Below is the detailed schedule-

Meanwhile, through a notice, MPDME has extended the Last Date of Admission, Resignation and Upgradation for the MP State combined counselling NEET PG 2025 Second round for the (MD/MS Course. Through a notice issued by the MPDME in this regard, it has been informed to all candidates allotted in the State Second round that the last date for admission is extended until today, i.e. 31 December 2025, 04:00 PM.
Along with this, the last date for resignation from the admitted seat and upgradation for the MOP UP round is extended until 05:00 PM of 04 January 2026. Therefore, all candidates are advised to remain in touch with the DME website and the MP online portal for further updates.
