Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the schedule of the final mop-up round of the online centralized merit-based counseling for admission to DNB Post Diploma courses for the 2023 admission session.

The candidates can log in and pay the 1st year course fee to participate in the mop-up round from 1st November 2023 to 6th November 2023. The choices can be filled from 1st November 2023 to 6th November 2023 (5:00 pm) for the final mop-up round. The processing of allotment will be done from 7th November 2023 to 8th November 2023. On 9th November 2023, the allotment result will be declared. The physical joining at the allotted hospital can be done from 9th November 2023 to 15th November 2023.

Candidates who are already registered for the DNB-PDCET 2023 counseling and have not been offered any seat during the first, second, and third rounds of counseling will only be eligible for the final mop-up round of counseling. Candidates who have been allotted a DNB Post Diploma seat in any of these three rounds of counseling but have failed to join the allocated institute shall be ineligible for participation in the final mop-up round of counseling. No new registrations are permitted for the final mop-up round.

Process of online final mop-up round of DNB Post Diploma seats counseling-2023 admission session -

Candidates who do not join their allotted institute in the final mop-up round of counseling by the stipulated date i.e. 15-11-2023, will lose their DNB Post Diploma seat & their 1st-year course fee shall be forfeited.

The Government of India established the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in 1975 with the objective of improving the quality of Medical Education by establishing high and uniform standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine on an all-India basis and utilizing existing infrastructure for capacity building.
