NBE DNB PDCET 2025: Admit card release expected tomorrow, check out Counseling, Reservation Guidelines

New Delhi- The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is going to hold the DNB – Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test (PDCET) - 2025 on 25th March 2025. For candidates appearing for DNB-PDCET And DNB PDCET, NBE has also released an information bulletin detailing the Counseling and Reservation along with other details.

Candidates who have secured a merit position in the DNB Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test (DNB-PDCET) 2025 conducted by NBEMS and fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission to DNB (Post Diploma) courses (2025 admission session) at various NBEMS accredited Medical Colleges/ Institutions/ Hospitals in India shall participate in the counselling for allocation of seats purely on merit cum choice basis.

Centralized merit based counseling shall be conducted by NBEMS for allotment of Post Diploma DNB seats at NBEMS accredited Institutions/hospitals/medical colleges in order of specialty specific merit.

The provisional list of seats in NBEMS accredited hospitals/institutions shall be available at NBEMS website in due course. Candidates may visit website of NBEMS website for Post Diploma DNB seats accredited in various institutions across the country.

However, the accredited seats shown on the website should not be treated as seat matrix for DNB-PDCET 2025 counseling. The final seat matrix of Post Diploma DNB seats going to be offered for 2025 admission session shall be published on NBEMS website before conduct of DNB-PDCET 2025 counseling.

Status of applicable reservations of Post Diploma DNB seats at particular Govt. Institution / Medical College shall be provided for Scheduled Castes (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Other Backward Classes (OBC), EWS as per rules, at the time of counseling. NBEMS has no role whatsoever in deciding the status of reservation of Post Diploma DNB seats at respective NBEMS accredited Govt. institutions. This is done by the concerned State Government/Competant Authority of the concerned Government Institutions. However, the reservation categories are as per the central government reservation list.
