NBE Final Mop-up Round of Post Diploma DNB Counselling 2025, Check out Schedule, Seat Matrix
New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is soon going to commence the Final (Mop-up) Round of the online Centralised Merit-Based Counselling for admission to Post Diploma DNB courses for the 2025 admission session. In this regard, NBEMS has released the schedule for the candidates who are willing to participate in the said counselling.
As per the schedule, the Final (Mop-up) Round of the online Centralised Merit-Based Counselling for admission to Post Diploma DNB courses for the 2025 admission session will commence from 16th July 2025 till 31st July 2025. The schedule has been released in a PDF format on the official website of NBEMS. Therefore, interested and eligible candidates can check complete schedule-

It is to be noted that the Final (Mop-up) Round of the Counselling in Radiodiagnosis has been deferred in view of an ongoing court case. However, the Final (Mop-up) Round of the Counselling in Emergency Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, Orthopaedics, Pathology, PMR, Psychiatry and Radiation Oncology shall not be conducted as there is no eligible candidate in terms of the eligibility criteria.
Along with this, candidates who have been allotted a seat in any of the previous rounds of the counselling but-
1 Have opted not to freeze the same.
2 Have not paid the First Year Course Fee after freezing the seat.
3 After payment of the First Year Course fee fails to join the institute allotted.
4 After payment of the First Year Course fee fails to produce his/her original documents for verification by the institute.
5 after payment of the First Year Course fee fails to fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed during the verification of documents
shall also not be eligible for participation in the Final (Mop-up) Round of the Counselling.
Therefore, only those candidates who are already registered for the counselling and have not been allotted any seat during the First and Second rounds of the counselling will be eligible to participate in the Final (Mop-up) Round of the counselling.
Moreover, candidates who fail to join their allotted institution in the Final (Mop-up) Round of the Counselling by the stipulated date, i.e. 31 June 2025, will lose their Post Diploma DNB Seat & their First Year Course Fee shall be forfeited.

Meanwhile, NBEMS has also released the Indicative Seat Matrix for the Final (Mop-up) Round of Counselling for admission to DNB Post Diploma courses for the 2025 Admission Session. As per the seat matrix, a total of 826 seats are vacant across 8 DNB Post Diploma courses. The seat matrix has also been released in a PDF format on the official website of NBEMS.
