NBE releases post Diploma DNB 2026 counselling schedule, registrations from July 2, details

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the schedule for the Online Centralized Merit-Based Counselling for admission to Post Diploma DNB courses for the 2026 admission session.

As per the notification, the first round of counselling registration will be conducted from July 2 to July 6, 2026, while seat allotment results are scheduled to be declared on July 9, offering eligible DNB-PDCET 2026 candidates an opportunity to secure admission to accredited institutions across the country.

The Online Centralized Merit Based Counseling for admission to Post Diploma DNB courses for 2026 Admission Session shall be conducted by NBEMS as per the schedule given below:

v. Result of Allotment 9th July, 2026 27th July, 2026
vi. Physical Joining at the allotted hospital 9th to 15th July, 2026 (till 1700 hrs.) 27th July to 3rd August, 2026 (till 1700 hrs.)
Further round of this Counseling shall depend on the number of vacant seats after the completion 2nd round of Counseling. The decision to conduct any further round is purely discretionary and the decision of the NBEMS in this regard shall be final and binding.

 All candidates will be registered ONCE during the start of the counseling process. No registration is permissible once the window of registration is closed. There is No other methodology for participation in the counseling for PDCET 2026 admission session.

 Participation in the online Counseling shall be strictly as per the eligibility criteria and guidelines mentioned in the Information Bulletin for PDCET 2026 Admission Session and Handbook for admission to Post Diploma DNB courses 2026 Admission.

DNB-PDCET 2026 is the ranking examination for admission to various Post Diploma DNB courses of 2026 admission session.

Registration & filling of choices has to be done through website (counseling.nbe.edu.in). Candidates are advised to fill their preferences/ choice of seats carefully and Submit the course fee so that the same are considered by the System.
If there is INACTION i.e. the candidate does not submit the course fee, the preferences/ choices of seats, the System will not accept the choices of seats and the candidate will not be allowed to participate in any of the Rounds of the Counseling. 
Candidates are required to pay the Counseling registration fee of Rs. 2500/- at the time of online registration. Payment gateway charges shall be borne by the candidate. Counseling Registration fee shall not be refunded under any circumstances once the candidate has been registered for Counseling.
In order to complete the Registration for the Counseling, it is mandatory to deposit the one-year non-refundable course fee of Rs. 1,25,000/- to participate in the Counseling. Payment gateway charges shall be borne by the candidate. 
In case, candidate is not allotted any seat during any rounds of the Counseling, the annual course fee shall be refunded to the candidate.
Candidates may note that the allotment of seat in the Counseling is subject to the candidates being eligible in all respects and verification of their original documents at the time of joining the allotted institute.
The candidate who did not opt for Freeze or Upgradation after allotment of seat in any round of counseling, shall not be eligible to participate in subsequent round of counseling and the amount paid against the 1st year course fee shall be forfeited by NBEMS.
