NBE releases schedule of Special Mop up Round of FNB Counselling, 29 seats up for grabs
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the schedule of Special (Mop-up) Round of the online Centralized Merit Based counseling for admission to FNB courses for 2020 admission session. According to the vacant indicative seat matrix released by the NBE, 29 seats are available for the aspirants.

All the aspirants vying for FNB admissions are hereby requested to take note of the seats available in their preferred choice of specialities.
The maximum number of seats are available in the speciality of Interventional Cardiology with 11 seats divided between Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Medical Trust Hospital, Madras Medical Mission Hospital, and B.M. Birla Heart Research Centre.
5 seats in the speciality of Infectious Disease in the institutes of Sterling Hospital, P.D. Hinduja National Hospital, and Medical Research Centre, Apollo Hospital (Chennai), and Apollo Hospital (Hyderabad).
In the speciality of Minimal Access Surgery, there are 3 seats, 1 each in Fortis Hospital, Narayana Hrudayalaya Surgical Hospital and ILS Hospital.
FNB in Hand and Micro Surgery has 3 seats. Paediatric Nephrology and Vitreo Retinal Surgery has 2 seats each.
The specialities of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, Sports Medicine, Liver Transplantation, has only 1 seat each.
