NBE revises DNB post Diploma round 2 seat matrix, updates vacancies in 3 institutes

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued an update to the previously released Indicative Seat Matrix for Round 2 of the DNB Post Diploma Counselling for the 2026 admission session.

The NBE has revised the vacancy position for three participating institutes across Gujarat, Kerala and Maharashtra. The update modifies the seat availability published earlier for the ongoing counselling process.

According to the revised seat matrix, changes have been made in Radio Diagnosis, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Ophthalmology seats at select institutions. 

The update includes Apollo Hospital International, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Baby Memorial Hospital, Kozhikode, Kerala and National Institute of Ophthalmology, Pune, Maharashtra.

NBEMS has clarified that the revised seat matrix is purely provisional. Candidates have been advised to visit or contact the respective hospitals to verify the applicable bond policy and obtain any additional institutional information before exercising their seat preferences.

For details regarding service bond applicability, candidates have been directed to refer to the earlier indicative seat matrix and the official counselling website.

The Board has issued the updated matrix to ensure candidates have access to the latest vacancy position before participating in the ongoing Round-2 centralised counselling for admission to DNB Post Diploma courses for the 2026 academic session.
