NEET 2021: NTA extends application period, notifies on Correction Window

New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has informed about the further extension to the application period and correction facility for the online application form of the prestigious MBBS entrance test, National Eligibility Entrance Cum Test, NEET 2021.

Earlier, the NTA extended the applications deadline up to 10th August 2021 (05:00 PM), now, the timeline has been pushed to 09:50 pm for all candidates.

The extension comes in view of numerous requests received from students and the hardships faced by them due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Considering the representations, the exam body decided to extend the last date of submission of Online Application Forms.

Now, accordingly, the Extended/Revised last date of submission of Online Application Forms and making corrections (including Centre Cities of Examination, etc.) in the particulars of the Online Application Form shall be as follows:

Submission of Application Form Online: Last date extended upto 10 August 2021 (upto 09:50 pm)

Last date for payment of Application Fee Online: 10 August 2021 (upto 11:50 PM)

Correction in Application Form (Correction Window): 11 August 2021 to 14 August 2021 (upto 02:00 PM)

All the concerned candidates are hereby advised to take note of the fact that corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Forms shall be accepted and submission of an additional fee (depending on the changes made in the form) upto 02:00 PM.

The fee (for fresh applications) / additional fee (for already registered candidates depending on the changes made in the form) can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM.

The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates.

The dates of downloading of Admit Cards and declaration of Result will be displayed on NEET (UG) portal in due course.

The Schedule of Examination activities is as follows:

Online Submission of Application Form through Website ( https://neet.nta.nic.in/ )

Last date extended upto 10 August 2021 (upto 09:50 pm)

Last date of successful transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net- Banking/UPI / Paytm Wallet

10 August 2021 (upto 11:50 PM)

Correction in Particulars of Application Form on the website only

11 August 2021 to 14 August 2021 (upto 02:00 PM)

Announcement of the City of Examination

20 August 2021

Downloading of Admit Cards from NTA website

To be released 03 days before the Examination
