NEET 2024: No Impact on Exam Eligibility for Voters in General Elections, NTA clarifies
New Delhi- NEET candidates who vote in the general elections to the Lok Sabha and have their fingers linked, will not face any prohibition from entering the examination hall of the examination conducted by NTA.
The notice has been issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) while refuting the several messages circulating on social media, which are claiming that “individuals who vote in the General Elections to the Lok Sabha and have their fingers inked will be prohibited from entering examination halls of the examinations conducted by NTA”.
As per the notice, NTA has clarified that these messages are completely baseless and NTA has not issued any such instructions or guidelines regarding the ‘voting affecting the student examination eligibility”.
Furthermore, the NTA has clearly instructed the students not to pay heed to such rumours and to exercise their voting rights however, voting will not affect the students' eligibility to take examinations. Also, students are advised to focus on their studies and prepare for the upcoming examinations.
