NEET 2025 likely via Hybrid Mode, know benefits, challenges
New Delhi- The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to start the process of National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 soon. NEET is the only medical entrance exam in India for admission to undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, and BDS admissions. NEET is usually conducted in offline mode, however, this year, NTA may shift to hybrid mode.
The hybrid exam mode is a combination of both online and offline modes. If hybrid testing technology is implemented in the NEET 2025 exam, then it can be conducted in a hybrid method i.e. Online Component (Digital Mode) and Offline Component (Pen-and-Paper Mode).
There are both positive and negative outcomes of the hybrid exam mode.
Positive:
Improved exam security
Better management at exam centres, no paper leak worries
negative-
1 Students and examiners will need proper training to adapt to the new hybrid system.
2 Vulnerablity to technical problems such as server crashes or network disruptions.
