NEET Counselling 2021: KEA notifies on seat cancellation, Details
Karnataka: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued guidelines for cancelling UGCET-2021 NEET seats before round 2.
Candidates who want to cancel the seat should submit the prescribed application form to cancel the seat duly filled. They have to be present in a person with valid photo id proof at Karnataka Examination Authority, Malleshwaram Bangalore.
The id proofs include –
1. Aadhaar card
2. Pancard
3. Passport
4. Driving license
5. Voter id
The candidates have to submit the following documents along with the application form –
1. A copy of the document for the proof of fees paid.
2. Proof of bank account details (cancellation application form) for refund.
3. Suppose the candidate has opted for choice 1 in round 1 of seat allotment and is willing to cancel such a seat before round 2 of seat allotment. In that case, such candidates should provide a copy of the admission order downloaded from the KEA site and the original copy of the document pertaining to receipt of the original documents by KEA, Bangalore (yellow colour sheet).
4. Suppose the candidate has opted for choice 2 in round 1 of seat allotment and is willing to cancel such a seat before round 2 of seat allotment. In that case, such candidates should provide a copy of the result sheet downloaded from the KEA site/screenshot. The original copy of the Verification slip by KEA, Bangalore (white colour Sheet).
Candidates note that requests for cancellation of seats shall be approved as per the above procedure only. The seat cancellation cannot be made online.
The seat allotment lists have already been uploaded for admission to undergraduate MBBS and BDS courses. The counselling is held online for admission to various MBBS and BDS courses across the Karnataka government and private medical colleges. The counselling comprises two rounds and a mop-up round conducted if any seats are left vacant after the round.
