NEET Counselling 2025: MCC adds 13 new disability certification centres, activates PwD portal
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice for the PwD candidates and Institutions regarding the inclusion of new designated disability centres. As per the notice, a total of 13 Certification Centres have been added across India.
Through the notice, MCC has informed all the participating candidates of UG Counselling 2025 that, for the convenience of PwBD candidates, MCC has onboarded certain Medical Colleges as Designated Disability Centres to issue Disability Certificates w.r.t Interim Guidelines issued by NMC on Assessment method for granting admission in MBBS course under the PwBD category for AY 2025-26.
Therefore, candidates can now visit the Designated Disability Centres in addition to the earlier 16 Disability centres of MCC for the purpose of getting themselves examined and obtaining Disability Certificates as per NMC Guidelines. The PwD portal for Round 2 of UG Counselling 2025 is active now and is open upto 12:00 Noon of 9th Sept., 2025. PwBD candidates can visit the centres with their valid UDID card to obtain a certificate as per their eligibility.
