NEET Counselling: MCC delays Stray Vacancy Round, details

New Delhi : Through a recent notice, MCC (Medical Council Committee) has informed to All Candidates/Institutes/ DMEs about the delay in Stray Vacancy Round of NEET UG counselling.

The stray vacancy round that was conducted earlier this week, will now begin from today 17th December

"Since the Mop Up Round of UG Counselling 2022 of many states was delayed and is getting over on 18.12.2022., the competent authority has decided to delay the conduction of Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling by MCC so that the states can complete their Mop Up Round and there is no overlapping between Stray Vacancy Round of MCC and Mop round of states," the MCC notice

The Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling is being extended as per following schedule :

1 *Opting out by candidates who do not want to participate in Stray Vacancy Round 17th Dec. to 20th Dec, 2022
2 Processing of Seat Allotment 21st Dec. to 22nd Dec, 2022
3 Result 23rd December, 2022
4 Reporting 24th Dec., to 28th Dec., 2022

*The Candidates who do not want to participate in Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling 2022 to be conducted by MCC, may log in to their account and exercise 'OPT OUT' option on MCC website to prevent forfeiture of their security deposit.

The candidates who take part in stray vacancy round will be allotted seats as per merit and choices exercised by them in Mop up round of UG Counselling 2022 as given in the Information Bulletin.
