NEET: DME Gujarat issues notice on Round 1 Admission cancellation, Registrations for Round 2, details

Gujarat- The Director of Medical Education (DME) of Gujarat has issued an advertisement informing about details for cancellation of first round admissions and online registration of second round for MBBS and BDS admissions at Medical and Dental Colleges for the academic year 2025-26.

In this regard, DME Gujarat has released a notice for the students who have passed the Standard 12 (Science Stream with B/AB Group) examination from schools in Gujarat affiliated with the Gujarat Board, Central Board, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, Cambridge University, or the National Institute of Open Schooling; who are eligible as per the All India Overall Rank in NEET-UG 2025.

Accordingly, the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria as per the Admission Rules of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat, as well as the rules of the respective Commission/Councils, and who have not registered in Round 01, only such students will be eligible.

The schedule for Online Registration, Document Verification for Round 02, for admission to the above-mentioned Undergraduate Medical and Dental courses in Government and Self-financed Colleges of Gujarat for the Academic Year 2025-26 and Cancellation of First Round Admissions at the Help Centre will be held as follows:

Meanwhile, for Online Registration, PIN can be purchased online from the DME Gujarat official website on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Non-refundable) + Rs 10,000 (Refundable Security Deposit) = Total Rs 11,000/-. However, candidates who have purchased an Online PIN by paying Rs 11,000/- in Round 01 and have not done online registration/ documents verification & not submitted photocopies of documents at the Help Centre after completing online registration, need not purchase an online PIN again. They only have to do document verification & submit photocopies of documents at the Help Centre.

After online Registration, the candidate has to take a prior appointment for the document verification and Submission of self-attested photocopies of Documents at the Help Centre. Candidates themselves can select the Date and Help Centre for document verification at the time of printing the Registration Slip.

FOR LOCAL QUOTA

Candidates who want to apply for the Local Quota Seats of Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad or Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education & Research (SMIMER), Surat. Candidate, in addition to online registration, must obtain a certificate that he/she is a local student of Ahmedabad/Surat city from the Dean of the respective institute. The candidate has to contact the respective college.

FOR NRI CANDIDATES ONLY

After the online application, they have to submit a Demand Draft of Rs 10,000/- in favour of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar, as a processing fee at the office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar Only.
