NEET MDS 2025: NBE to open registration window tomorrow, check out internship deadline
New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is inviting applications for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) for the academic year 2025.
As per the notice issue in this regard, this year, NBE is going to conduct NEET MDS on a computer-based platform at various exam centres across the country on April 19, 2025. The result is expected to be declared by 19th May 2025. Meanwhile, candidates willing to appear for the exam can submit the application form from tomorrow i.e., February 18, 2025, at 03:00 PM to March 10, 2025, at 11:55 PM.
STEPS TO APPLY
STEP 1- Register on the official portal to generate a User ID and Password.
STEP 2- Fill out the application form.
STEP 3- Upload photograph and signature.
STEP 4- Pay the requisite amount of fees.
STEP 5- Take a printout of the filled application form with the transaction ID printed on it.
Moreover, details such as eligibility criteria, fee structure, exam scheme and other relevant information for the candidates are mentioned in the information bulletin, which will be published soon on the official website of NBE.
Last year, NEET MDS 2024 was held on March 18, 2024, and the initial internship completion deadline was March 31, which was later extended to June 30. However, this year, while the exam has already been delayed by a month, the official internship completion cut-off date is 31st March 2025.
NEET-MDS is an eligibility and ranking examination prescribed as a single entrance examination for admission to various MDS courses under the Dentists Act, of 1948 (as amended from time to time). No other entrance examination at the state or institution level will be valid for admission to MDS courses. Candidates have to qualify the NEET-MDS for admission to MDS courses under various universities/institutions in the country.
