New Delhi:  Through a recent notice, the Medical Council Committee (MCC) has extended the reporting time of PG medical counsellling 2022

Confirmation to the same was recently made by the MCC in a notice released recently. As per the earlier schedule, the reporting time was set at 20th October, 2022 to 26th October, 2022. However, on account of various holidays and festivals, MCC has now extended the Reporting for Round-2 of PG Counselling 2022 upto 5:00 PM of 28.10.2022

" This is in reference to the Reporting module of Round-2 of PG Counselling 2022 which is scheduled to end on 26.10.2022. However, requests and representations are being received by MCC from students and participating colleges for extension of time of reporting due to holidays during reporting module on account of festivals," the notice stated

"Hence, to facilitate students and institutes the competent authority has decided to extend the Reporting for Round-2 of PG Counselling 2022 upto 5:00 PM of 28.10.2022," the notice added

MCC conducts counselling for the following Institutions/Universities:-

a) a) 50% All India Quota seats of all states including Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, this year onwards. (UT of J&K will also contribute their 50% broad speciality Medical/ Dental seats for the All India Quota counselling conducted by MCC of DGHS).
b) 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on MCC website.
c) 100% seats of Deemed Universities.
d) 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).
e) All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions(only Registration part).
f) Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur(50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University).

Students may note the following points:-

❖ For participation in NEET PG Counselling 2020 candidates are required to go for Registration at official website of Medical Counselling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in).
❖ Candidates to note that Non- Refundable registration fees and Refundable Security Deposit have to be paid by the candidate at the time of registration as per their category.
❖ The Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Round-2 / Mop Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited.
❖ Reservation of seats under PwD Category will be 5% as per Gazette Notification of MCI.
