New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the revised PG Broad Speciality seat matrix, detailing the total number of MD, MS and Diploma seats available across medical colleges in India for the current academic session 2025-26.

The seat matrix has been compiled based on the information received from medical colleges and verified through the Commission’s online portal. The data aims to assist authorities and candidates participating in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling for the academic year 2025 by ensuring transparency and uniformity in seat allocation.

In its notice, the NMC said, "In continuation to approval granted for PG Seats for Broad Specialist (BS) to the Govt. Medical College for AY 2025-26, a revised Seat Matrix as on date for Broad Specialist (BS) has been prepared.  The Final Seat Matrix for Broad Specialist (BS) after including the seats granted to Govt. Medical College in the AY 2025-26 is hereby uploaded on the official website of the National Medical Commission for the information of all stakeholders.  The LOPs for sanctioned PG seats for AY 2025-26 are in the process of being issued. The counselling authorities need not wait for the LOP's from institutions to include them in the counselling process. The matrix uploaded in the website shall be considered as valid document for counselling process."
