Mumbai: College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPS) has released the provisional selection lists and the link to download the selection letter.

Commissioner, Medical Education & Research, is the competent authority for admission to CPS fellowship and diploma courses by the Government of Maharashtra for 2021 - 2022. The admission is based on NEET PG 2021 eligibility, including the lower down percentile.

The selected candidates will have to download the selection letter to join the physically allotted institute as per the notice released. They can download using the link https://cmercps.in/allotment.aspx till 4th June 2022 up to 5:00 pm. The following details have to be entered –

1. DMER application no.

2. Counselling all India rank

3. Date of birth

The last date to fill out the status retention form is 4th June 2022 up to 5 pm. The admitting institute will verify the documents as per the NEET (PG)- CPS 2021 brochure before admission. The candidates will have to deposit all the required original documents and pay the fees in the form of a Demand Draft at the time of reporting.

CPS has further notified that the seat allotment is conducted on the seats approved/permitted by CPS, Mumbai only. 1028 seats were available this academic session for NEET-PG admissions. State Government/Corporation Colleges and Local bodies Institutions had 232 seats, and Private Institutes (Unaided) had 796 seats.

College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai, established in 1913, is an autonomous body imparting Postgraduate Medical Education and offers 10 Fellowships,17 Diplomas, and 2 Certificate Courses. The qualifications granted by CPS Mumbai allow the Practitioner to register themselves as specialists in the specialty concerned upon duly completing the tenure of 2 years Diploma or 3 years Fellowship and passing the exit examination prescribed.
