NEET PG: BFUHS Issues Notice On Minority Quota Verification, Details
Punjab- The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has issued a notice regarding the verification of the Sikh Minority and Christian Minority Quota for admission under the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024.
As per the notice, the NEET PG 2024 qualified candidates who have registered/applied for admission to PG Medical Courses, session 2024 under the Christian / Sikh Minority quota are hereby informed to report to the Christian Medical College, Ludhiana for Verification of eligibility under Christian Minority Quota and SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Amritsar for verification of eligibility under Sikh Minority Quota till Sunday i.e. 17 November 2024. Thereafter no time will be given for verification of Minority status.
Meanwhile, the online counselling for all the interested eligible NEET PG 2024 qualified candidates seeking PG medical admission in MD, MS, PG Diploma, Ultrasonography and DNB courses in the state of Punjab was concluded on 30th September 2024. As per the notice in this regard, Keeping in view the instructions given by NBE all the NEET PG aspirants are apprised that there would be single-time registration of candidates for online counselling in the State of Punjab and no further registration would be allowed for further rounds. The online portal for registration will open from 23 to 30 September 2024.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July 1998. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
