Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME) has released a tentative vacancy position, tentative round- 2 counselling schedule, documents to be submitted for PG degree/diploma course.

There are a total of 649 vacancies for PG degree/diploma courses across 29 courses.

In Tamil Nadu government medical colleges, government quota seats in self-financing medical colleges the result will be declared on 4th March 2022 for round 2 . The provisional allotment order can be downloaded on 4th March 2022. The candidates can report between 4th March 2022 to 8th March 2022, 5:00 pm.

DME has mentioned that under NRI category candidates can to report to college from 3rd March 2022 till 5th March 2022, 5:00 pm. In Christian Medical College, Vellore (30% OF SEATS IN Christian minority seats) reporting can be done between 2nd March 2022 till 4th March 2022, 5:00 pm. 

DME has further notified that all candidates must register to participate in this counselling. Candidates will have to do new choice filling and locking. The choice filling has to be done carefully. Candidates who wish to retain their seats of round 1 counselling need not participate in this counselling.

Candidates participating in online counselling for PG degree/ diploma courses will have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs. 1000/- as processing fee online using a debit card/net banking/credit card. The candidates who have already paid the processing fee need not pay again.

Candidates who have not participated in round 1 of counselling can also participate in this counselling. They have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs.1000/- online as a processing fee.

Vacancy positions for the courses will be available on official websites. The online counseling based on the rank will select candidates for PG degree/ diploma course. Candidates selected for admission will have to give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

Candidates can download their provisional allotment order after the tuition fee is paid. They have to join the concerned college on or before the date and time stipulated. Re-allotted candidates need not pay the tuition fee again.

Those who are willing for re-allotment have to register. Then their allotted seat (allotted in round 1 of counselling) will be open for choice filling in the re-counseling of round 2. Re-allotted candidates must get relieved from the earlier institution and join in the allotted college. Candidates who do not report in round 1 of counselling their seat is treated as vacant, and they cannot claim the seat.

Documents to be submitted at the time of joining the college

1. NEET PG-2021-Score Card.

2. NEET P G - 2021 Admit Card.

3. Aadhar Card

4. MBBS Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate and Diploma certificate.

5. CRRI Completion Certificate.

6. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.

7. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.

8. Nativity Certificate, Community Certificate and Linguistic Minority Certificate from the Revenue Authorities for the candidates who are taking seat under Linguistic Minority Category.

9. A copy of receipt of payment of Tuition fee.

10. Post Card size color photograph (4"x6") the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET PG-2021.
