NEET PG counselling 2025: CEE opens option registration for 39 newly added seats, check details

Thiruvananthapuram: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE Kerala), has enabled the option registration facility for newly added PG Medical courses as part of the second phase of centralised allotment for PG Medical admissions 2025.

The decision follows the publication of the provisional seat matrix for newly sanctioned and enhanced seats on the official website of CEE Kerala.

As per to the Category-wise Seat distribution (excluding In-Service/Minority/NRI quota seats) for Newly Added Seats (Available from Second Round Onward) released on the website, a total of 39 seats have been added.

According to the notification, Candidates can make Online Option Confirmation, Rearrangement, Option Registration for newly sanctioned courses, or deletion of unwanted options till 20.12.2025, 2:00 PM.

The CEE clarified that the allotment to the newly added seats will be subject to the issuance of affiliation orders by the Kerala University of Health Sciences and approval of the seat matrix by the Government. Only after these formalities are completed will the seats be considered for final allotment.

The facility for option confirmation/rearrangement/registration/deletion will end on 20.12.2025 at 2:00 PM. Candidates are advised to go through the earlier notifications issued in this regard and to visit the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations regularly for updates.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported the revision in the NEET PG schedule for round 2 follows inputs from the Director of Medical Education (DME) and the Registrar, Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), who informed that the affiliation process for newly sanctioned seats was underway. The CEE had clarified that the facility for option registration for newly sanctioned courses will be enabled on the official website once affiliation is granted by KUHS, and the same is communicated by the DME

"In view of the circumstances reported by the Director of Medical Education and the Registrar, Kerala University of Health Sciences, that the process of granting provisional affiliation to the newly sanctioned seats/courses by the National Medical Commission in PG Medical is under way, the schedule for the second phase of allotment published vide this office notification dated 10.12.2025 is hereby revised as follows. The facility for option registration for the newly sanctioned courses will be made available on the website as and when it is provided by the Director of Medical Education upon obtaining affiliation from the Kerala University of Health Sciences," the notice had said.

19.12.2025,2.00 PMFacility for Online Option Confirmation and rearrangement/option registration for new courses, if any/deletion of options ends.
21.12.2025Publication of second phase allotment.
22.12.2025 to 30.12.2025,4.00 PM (excluding holidays)All candidates who receive an allotment must join the course/colleges to which they are allotted. They are required to submit the necessary documents and pay the required fees.
30.12.2025, 5.00 PMCollege authorities shall have to approve and submit the list of admitted candidates to the CEE through the the portal, Online Admission Management System (OAMS).
