ADVISORY FOR CANDIDATES
The online counselling process for admission to all state quota seats (MD/MS) available in government and private medical colleges of the state, including NRI seats available in private medical colleges and seats reserved for in-service candidates, will be conducted through Madhya Pradesh State Level Joint Counselling NEET MD/MS 2025. The counselling process will be conducted under the Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Admission Rules 2018 and amendments issued from time to time.
All eligible candidates of NEET MD/MS 2025 who wish to participate in the above counselling are advised not to share their login ID and password and other related information with any other person after registration, to prevent its misuse.
The registration and online counselling process will be conducted on the designated portal of MP Online, dme.mponline.gov.in.
During the counselling process, all OTPs and email messages will be received by the candidate on the primary mobile number (First Registered Mobile Number) and email ID registered in the NEET MD/MS exam database.
Before profile creation and registration, read and understand the Profile and Registration User Manual displayed on the Directorate's website and portal and the Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Admission Rules 2018, Amendment dated 19 June 2019, Amendment Rules dated 05 October 2021, Amendment Rules dated 26 July 2022, Amendment Rules dated 10 May 2023 and Amendments dated 02 July 2024 and 03 September 2025. In case of any doubt, send your problem to the Directorate of Medical Education's email and get it resolved. As per the rules, after the stipulated period for registration, the candidate will not be able to make any amendments to the registration entries.
The account number, IFSC code, bank name, branch name, account holder name, mobile number, etc., entered at the time of profile creation should be the same in which the candidate wants a refund after counselling (if applicable).
A candidate will be considered registered only after they have deposited the online registration fee of ₹1100. The registration fee is non-refundable. Candidates must have a registration slip generated from the MP Online portal, which will be received upon payment of the fee.
The registration process will be done before the first phase of counselling and re-registration will be opened before the mop-up phase, in which only those eligible candidates who could not register for any reason will be able to register for the mop-up phase. The candidates already registered are not required to register again. Except for the candidates admitted in the first phase, such candidates who, due to any reason, wish to make amendments in the registration done before the first phase of counselling, will be given one last opportunity to make necessary amendments in the registration within the stipulated time limit before the second phase of counselling. After the expiry of the stipulated time limit, no further opportunity will be given to the candidates.
The registration process will be conducted according to the announced schedule. The option to edit will be available until the registration deadline. Registration deadlines will not be extended for any reason, such as network failure, computer failure, technical errors, power outages, etc. Candidates are therefore advised to complete the registration process within the stipulated timeframe and not wait until the deadline.
In all the stages of counselling, under the counselling programme, candidates will have to enter their choice (choice filling) on the portal within the specified time limit and it will be mandatory to lock the choice. Candidates will be able to edit their choice till the stipulated time of choice filling/locking. It will be mandatory to lock the edited choice; otherwise, the choice filling locked before editing will be accepted for allotment. Before locking the choice, the candidate will have to deposit the portal fee of Rs 100 online.
All stages of counselling are conducted online, so candidates must pay the advance amount at the time of registration, the advance deposit before filling new choices in the second and mop-up counselling phases, and the institution's prescribed fee at the time of admission online. Candidates can pay the prescribed fee from any account, or from multiple accounts, through net banking, credit card, debit card, and online RTGS/NEFT. Candidates can use more than one net banking account, debit card, or credit card for fee payment. Considering the above, candidates are advised to maintain sufficient funds in their accounts to meet the institution's prescribed fee requirements to avoid fee payment difficulties. Candidates should ensure that their bank accounts have internet banking facilities and increase the transaction limit as needed. After the mop-up stage, at the time of admission at the institute level in the stray vacancy stage, the prescribed fee of the institute can be deposited by the candidate in the account of the institute through any medium other than cash.
Registered candidates who have not completed the MBBS course from any NMC-recognised medical college of Madhya Pradesh (Non-Institutional) will be eligible for allotment of 50 per cent open seats of private medical colleges only in the first phase of counselling.
After the first round, other candidates (Non-Institutional) will also be eligible for allotment on Institutional seats in the subsequent rounds of counselling, but these candidates will be allotted on these seats only if Institutional candidates from Madhya Pradesh State are not available in the merit list.
Candidates eligible for the EWS category must opt for the EWS category when registering before counselling. Candidates must possess an EWS certificate issued by an authorised officer in Madhya Pradesh for the fiscal year 2024-25, which must be uploaded during online registration.
Candidates are advised to keep a short list of their choice colleges/subjects in advance before entering their options, so that they do not face any confusion while filling their choices on the portal.
Candidates are expected to carefully select colleges/subjects for allocation, taking into account the fees displayed on the portal and the Directorate of Medical Colleges and the fees displayed on the portal. Therefore, candidates should avoid filling out choices that would render them incapable of admission if they are allocated.
After the allotment result is declared, the candidate will be able to download the allotment letter from his/her login ID and take its printout.
The online admission slip will be issued only if the candidate selects either "YES" or "NO" for the second stage of upgrade at the time of admission at the college level. The facility to edit this option will be available on the candidate's login. This editing facility will be available only for the time period specified for the upgrade in the timetable.
If the candidate admitted in the first phase wants the option of upgradation in the mop-up phase, then it will be mandatory for him to do choice filling in the second phase by giving the option of upgrade after the first phase for the second phase also.
Allotted candidates must present themselves at the allotted institution for document verification with the original documents listed in Proforma-1 at the time of admission. Candidates must present themselves at the allotted institution within the stated admission deadline (counselling schedule), first reporting to the government nodal officer's desk, and then registering their attendance online. They must then have their original documents verified by the allotted institution's appointed admission committee. The list of original documents is listed in Schedule 3, attached to Proforma-1/Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Admission Rules 2018. Only candidates found eligible after verification will be admitted to the allotted seat. Candidates must submit all original documents to the admission committee. The head of the institution must obtain a certificate confirming the submission of the original documents, signed by the Dean/Principal of the institution.
