NEET PG counselling: KNRUHS invites round 3 registrations, web options from eligible candidates after cutoff reduction, check details

Telangana: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has invited online registration from NEET PG 2025 qualified candidates who have become eligible following the revision of NEET PG 2025 cut-off scores.

The registration is for admission into Medical Postgraduate Degree and Diploma courses (MD/MS/DNB) under the Competent Authority Quota (CAQ) for the academic year 2025-26.

"Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Medical Education Policy and the notification issued by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, Dated: 13.01.2026, KNRUHS hereby notifies online registration of NEET PG 2025 qualified candidates who have become eligible after revision of NEET PG 2025 cut-off score for admission into Medical PG Degree/Diploma courses under Competent Authority Quota for the AY 2025-26 in affiliated Government/Private Medical Colleges in the State of Telangana and Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad," said the notice in this regard.

"Notification is issued for online registration to determine merit position for web-based counselling for admission under Competent Authority Quota seats. Updated Provisional merit list will be notified after scrutiny of all certificates uploaded at the time of online registration. Tuition fee will be as notified by the Government of Telangana in G.O.Ms.No. 107, HM&FW(C1) Department, Dated: 28.07.202," the notice read.

This notification is for online registration of candidates for Competent Authority Quota seats only. Candidates have to register separately for Management Quota seats.

Schedule for registration and uploading of certificates:

Candidates can register online and upload scanned certificates on website from 04.30 PM on 16.01.2026 up to 05.00 PM on 18.01.2026. Merit position of the registered candidates will be prepared based on NEET PG 2025 score and other eligibility criteria notified after verification of uploaded certificates. Final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the time of admission at allotted college by admission committee.

KNRUHS further declared conduct the 1st phase of web- based counseling for allotment of the Post Graduate seats under Management Quota MQ1 and MQ2/NRI quota for admission into PG Medical Degree/Diploma courses for the academic year 2025-26 into Private Unaided Non-Minority and Minority Medical colleges in Telangana State affiliated to KNRUHS and Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences, Ghatkesar.

As per State Private Universities Act, 25% of MQ1 seats are reserved for candidates of Telangana in Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences.

The candidates whose online uploaded certificates were provisionally verified and whose names are notified in the final merit list for PG Medical Admissions on the website of KNRUHS, Warangal are eligible to exercise web-options through online from computer with internet connection.

All the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the final merit list for PG Medical Degree/ Diploma admissions under Management Quota can exercise web-options from 04.00 PM on 16.01.2026 up to 06.00 PM on 18.01.2026.

As per the candidates registration and eligibility for MQ-1, MQ-2 (NRI) categories, Candidates will have to exercise web options for the Post Graduate Medical seats as per their priority through website and allotments will be done accordingly.

UNIVERSITY FEE: 

Allotted Candidates have to pay the following University fee by way of payment gate-way through online and to download the allotment order.

A) MQ1 Management Quota sub category 1: Rs.49,600/-

B) MQ2(NRI category) and MQ3 (Institutional Quota): Rs. 69,600/-

TUITION FEE:

Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges. The tuition fee payable shall be as notified by the Government of Telangana orders.

NOTE:

The details of seats available (seat matrix)in all Medical Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS & Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences, Ghatkesar are placed in the website. The candidates can exercise web options for PG Medical Degree/Diploma seats under KNRUHS through website.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:

1) Eligible NEET-PG-2025 qualified Candidates as per the final merit list for Management Quota can exercise web options for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma  seats in all Medical colleges as per their interest and priority for MQ-1, MQ-2 (NRI) categories (as per eligibility).

2) Candidates are advised to go through the Prospectus for the Regulations into PG Medical Degree/Diploma courses of KNRUHS, available on website before exercising web options.

3) Candidates exercising web options for PG Medical Degree / Diploma courses are informed that, there is no limit of choices (number) for exercising web-options, candidates can exercise options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested to join as per eligibility and registration.

4) Candidates are advised to exercise web options for PG seats into courses and colleges in which they are interested to join. If they are not interested to join in any subject or college then they should not exercise options for the same.

5) Management Quota MQ-1 & MQ-2 (NRI) seats into Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Management Quota seats in other Medical Colleges.

6) Candidates have to exercise web options for MQ1 and if eligible for MQ2 (NRI) category in order of priority for course and college. Allotments will be made according to the order of preference in the web options exercised by the candidate. Candidates have to exercise options very carefully as per their priority. 

7) IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates are informed that if they exercise web-options for a seat and allotted a seat as per their choice in the web- counseling and if they do not join the course at the allotted college then they will not be eligible for exercising web - options for subsequent rounds of counseling to prevent seat blocking.

8) Candidates can exercise web options through online from computer having internet facility.

9) One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving web options. The password consists ofSIX letter code with English capitals A to Z (for details read instructions to the candidates before giving options.

10) The selected candidates shall download the allotment order from website after payment of the University fee by gateway method by using Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking), check their allotment and report to the Principal of allotted college on or before the date specified on the allotment order.

11) Candidates are hereby informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the college by the admission committee and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.

12) Selected candidates have to report at the respective colleges before the last date for joining as specified in the allotment letter, to submit all original certificates, relevant bonds and to pay the tuition fee / college fee to complete the admission process. If the candidate does not fulfill the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date the admission shall be cancelled automatically and the candidate will not be permitted to exercise web options for subsequent rounds of counselling as to prevent seat blocking.

13) Candidates allotted seat under NRI Quota should produce the relevant sponsorship letter from NRI relative in Original along with copy of passport/ Residence Proof/Bank Statement or pass book of sponsor for NRI Category at the respective colleges.

14) Original certificates will not be returned to the candidate, unless the candidate discontinues the course or slides to other college during subsequent phases of counseling

15) Allotment for MQ3 (Institutional quota) will be done after all the relevant sponsorship letters are received by the University from the Medical Colleges for Institutional quota.

16) The University fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Candidates who have already registered previously under Competent Authority Quota are not eligible to register again.
