NEET PG Counselling- NTRUHS Notifies On Free Exit Option For Phase 1, 2 Allotted Seats, Details
Andhra Pradesh- Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS) released a notification on free exit for Phase-1/Phase-2 Postgraduate (PG) seats under the competent authority quota for non-service and management quota for the academic year 2024-25. Through the notification, Dr NTRUHS has detailed the guidelines regarding the Free Exit facility.
FREE EXIT PROVISION
1 Candidates allotted PG seats through State Counselling (both Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota) in Phase-1 can avail of the Free Exit option.
2 The resignation facility for availing this option will be available from today i.e. 10:00 AM on 03rd January 2024 (Friday) until 03:00 PM on 06th January 2024 (Saturday).
PROCEDURE FOR FREE EXIT
1 Candidates should visit their allotted college to resign from the Phase-1/Phase-2 joined seat and submit an undertaking to this effect.
2 College Principals are responsible for ensuring that all resignations are promptly entered into the college login system.
3 Additionally, the college Principals must freeze the data by 04:00 PM on 06th January 2024 in their logins, download and email a signed copy of the reported/not-reported and resigned candidates along with the student undertaking.
4 College Principal shall return all the Original Certificates and the tuition fee and other fees collected to the candidates who resign from their seats.
5 Failure to complete this process will render the resignation as ‘Null & Void’.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR THE CANDIDATES
1 Utilize the Free Exit facility strictly within the stipulated time.
2 Once the Free Exit option is availed, the vacated seat will no longer be claimable by the candidate and will not be available for selection in Phase III counselling.
3 Resigned candidates are eligible to participate in Phase III Counselling as per eligibility.
4 Vacancies resulting from Free Exit will be included in the Phase-III counselling process.
5 Candidates who wish to participate only in MQ Phase-III and currently hold a CQ seat from Phase-I/Phase-II must resign from their CQ seat before the commencement of CQ Phase-III counselling as per this free exit notification.
6 The rules of Phase III will be applicable to all the candidates holding a seat under CQ in Phase I/Phase II. Candidates allotted/upgraded in CQ Phase-III irrespective of their reporting status will be blocked from participating in MQ Phase-III counselling, even if they have exercised web options.
RESTRICTIONS AND PENALTIES
1 Requests for extending the Free Exit deadline will not be entertained under any circumstances.
2 Candidates are strictly prohibited from reporting both in AIQ and State Quota.
3 Any instances of dual reporting will attract severe penalties, including potential disqualification.
Moreover, reported candidates who have not availed of the free exit option within the schedule announced after Phase-II Counselling will not be permitted to resign from their allocated seat during the admission process. However, they may choose to discontinue the course after the admissions process concludes, subject to payment of a discontinuance fee of ₹3 lakh plus 18% GST as per Rules.
