NEET PG Counselling revised cutoff: Gujarat DME invites fresh registrations, Check out details
Gujarat: The counselling schedule, online registration and admission process after the revised cutoff, and instructions for NRI candidates for PG Medical courses have been released by the Director of Medical Education (DME).
The counselling process for PG Medical courses –
1. Online registration.
2. Document verification.
3. Merit list publication.
4. Online choice filling.
5. Payment of tuition fees.
6. Original document submission.
As per the notification, candidates can purchase an online pin and register until 17th March 2022. This can be done through the website www.medadmgujarat.org. The candidate will have to pay 2000/- (non-refundable) for pin purchase, including NRI candidates. However, to complete the registration process, they must go to the help center with their required certificates and registration slip. Pin purchase can be made till 12:00 pm, and registration can be done till 4:00 pm.
Candidates need to click medical under postgraduate admission and click on the purchase pin for online registration. Candidates need to read the instructions carefully before purchasing the pin. Click on Candidate Registration/Login to start the registration process. To register as a new candidate, click the Click here for new registration button.
After the new window opens, the candidates need to enter the serial number of the pin along with the 14-digit pin, mobile number, email, NEET roll no, and captcha image. Then click submit button. Personal details of the candidates have to be filled in by them. Note that the serial number of the pin will be the user id and the password have to be generated by the candidates. Minimum 6 and maximum 12 alphanumeric characters must be there in the password. Candidates will have to use the same id or password for future login.
Candidates need to click on I Agree if the information filled is correct and then click on submit. They have to be very careful while filling in the personal details because if any mandatory information is missing, the registration process will not be considered complete. The missing fields will be highlighted in red. The candidate will have to fill in the missing information and click submit. OTP will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number. Click on Save Changes, and the registrations details will be generated.
Candidates who have previously registered but disqualified and now, due to reduced cutoff markers, become eligible need not register again. Candidates eligible as per the previous cutoff will not participate in this registration process.
NRI candidates, after online application, have to submit a demand draft of Rs. 25000 payable to ACPUGMEC, Gandhinagar as a processing fee at the Office of ACPUGMEC/ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. No application for admission will be considered unless it is accompanied by notarized copies of the certificates and all necessary documents.
Admission to NRI quota seats at Medical Colleges will be finalized based on the merit list as prescribed under the rules.
Document verification and submission of photocopies of documents at the help center can be made between 15th March 2022, 10:00 am till 19th March 2022, 1:00 pm. Help centers are working between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm and public holidays remain closed. As per DME prior appointment is needed for document verification at the help center. The date and time can be selected while printing the registration slip.
The candidate has to submit registration details and all relevant original documents & self-attested photocopies at the help center. In the case of candidates of SC/SEBC/ST/EWS/PwD category, the candidates have to submit 2 copies of the caste certificate, Non-creamy layer certificate, and school leaving certificate/transfer certificate of each.
Candidates will have to print registration details by clicking Re-Print Registration Slip. In the registration slip, both candidate and parent have to sign.
In the help center, registration details and the self-attested photocopies of relevant documents with originals will be verified. The original copies will be returned, and the rest will be retained. Candidates will be issued the registration slip with signature and seal.
PwD quota candidates have to appear for the examination for disability to the medical board of ACPUGMEC. Only a disability certificate issued from a medical board of ACPUGMEC will be considered. No other PwD certificate issued by other authorities or hospitals will be considered.
The candidate applying for NRI Quota, document verification, and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. For detailed instructions, candidates can check the website.
.Eligibility criteria for NRI candidates –
1. Candidates shall be Non-Resident Indian, their parents, or in the absence of their parents, their legal guardian shall be Non-Resident India.
2. The candidate must complete the Internship on or before 30th September 2021.
3. The candidate should have appeared in the NEET-PG examination of the current admission year and have been declared qualified.
Documents to be submitted for NRI candidates –
1. Demand draft of Rs. 25000.
2. Print-out of Online Application.
3. All year MBBS attempt-wise mark sheets.
4. Marksheet of NEET-PG of the current admission year.
5. School Leaving Certificate.
6. Internship completion certificate / 8 months internship completion certificate.
7. Provisional Registration of Gujarat Medical Council OR Medical Council of India.
8. Cast Certificate in Case of SC/ST/SEBC Candidate.
9. Non-Creamy layer Certificate for SEBC Candidate, issued on or after 1st April 2019.
Color photocopies of following all documents must be notarized -
• Passport (Notarized color photocopies of all pages including blank pages) of NRI/NRI Parents.
• Visa / Resident Permit / OCI / PIO card as applicable.
• Address proof (Indian and foreign).
• Undertaking in regard for the fees from NRI Student/Parent.
• Document/s for Proof of Origin (Citizenship Card/P.R. Card etc.).
The candidates will have to produce the original certificates notarized color copies at the time of submission of the application. At the interview, all the documents mentioned above are needed.
Residence in the college hostel will be offered to the students as available. The hostel fees will be charged at the rate fixed by the respective management from time to time and will be paid by the candidates before the beginning of each term. Any other fee is to be paid by candidates, as decided by college authorities at par with all students.
