NEET PG, MDS Admissions in West Bengal: WBMCC issues notice on Round 1 reporting deadline, bond amounts for candidates

West Bengal: West Bengal Main Computerised Counselling (WBMCC) has issued a notice informing about the bond amounts and reporting deadlines for ROund 1 NEET PG and MDS candidates.

Provisional allotment result for PG Medical and PG Dental Round 1 2022 is published. The individual allotment letters are available for download for the successful candidates from the counselling website till the closure of the updated schedule of round 1 admission. The allotted candidates are required to attend the allotted college within the round 1 admission schedule, i.e. between 10 am till 6 pm on the scheduled dates as per server time. The last date to admit is 17th October 2022.

The documents to be submitted at the time of admissions –

1. Server generated provisional allotment letter for round 1 WB PG 2022

2. Admit card and rank card of NEET PG 2022 / NEET MDS 2022 (as applicable)

3. Age proof

4. Any two of the three ID cards (Voter Card / Aadhar Card / Passport) of the candidate

5. Domicile certificate as applicable for State Quota (in case of Domicile B certificate, any two of three ID cards, i.e. Voter Card / Aadhar Card / Passport of the parent on whom the Domicile B certificate is issued )

6. Final MBBS /BDS certificate as applicable (provisional if passed in 2021/22)

7. Final MBBS /BDS mark sheet

8. Permanent registration certificate e issued from the Medical / Dental Council of West Bengal or India as applicable.

9. Caste certificate (issued by the appropriate authority in West Bengal) (caste certificate issued by a source outside west Bengal shall be treated as unreserved except for the central institute)

10. Non-creamy layer certificate issued on or after 01.04.2021 for OBC candidates whose OBC certificate was issued before 01.04.2021 (from appropriate authority)

11. EWS Certificate issued by the appropriate authority on or after 01.04.2021 (as applicable) (not for in-service candidates)

12. PwD certificate issued from IPGMER Kolkata Medical Board as applicable.

13. Internship certificate.

14. Proof of previous degree or diploma (if applicable)

15. Proof of completion of bond formalities if applicable.

16. For other service candidates in West Bengal except for the Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, ID card of present employment, NOC from current employer.

17. Acknowledgment receipt generated from the counselling website.

18. Successful document verification slip issued by the appropriate authority in WB PG counselling 2022.

19. Declaration of health service candidate of Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, as per notice dated 21.09.2022 in the counselling website.

20. Certificate from the institute in charge or custodian of service book regarding rural/remote/difficult service for in-service candidates of Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal for PG Medical / Dental (applicable for PG Medical and Dental seats but DNB sponsored seats rural/remote/difficult area service for three years is not kept mandatory.

21. Posting order and joining report for claiming in-service seats under Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal.

22. For NM candidates, relevant documents like an affidavit of the person who is NRI and the sponsor; Da ocument claiming that document of NRI; Relationship of NRI sponsor with the candidate as per order Hon'ble Supreme Court of India; affidavit that the sponsor will provide entire course fee of the candidate: Embassy certificate of the sponsor.

23. Undertaking of all the candidates that are not presently admitted anywhere through Alf/ ESC), or DNB counselling held in 2022 or earlier.

The candidates must provide original documents and submit one set of self-attested photocopies in the allotted college. The admitting institute shall not keep the caste certificate and ID cards. The college authority has to be paid the requisite fee for admission by the candidate in the appropriate payment method as applicable. The college authority shall also ensure the submission of the requisite bond by the candidate during admission.

The following bonds are relevant for admission –

Rs.2 Lakhs bond for both open I service candidates for PG diploma seats as discontinuation bond in Govt. colleges in West Bengal.

Rs. 5 Lakhs bond for PG MD/MS/MDS Degree seats in Govt. of West Bengal colleges by both open /in-service candidates as discontinuation bond.

There is no discontinuation bond for DNB-sponsored seats for the in-service candidate (for three years degree / 2-year diploma).

The open candidates shall have to provide an indemnity bond to the concerned Govt college of West Bengal to the effect that for the diploma course for two years they will serve for two years after completion of the system as per extant rule, else they will pay a penalty of Rs.10 Lakhs per years of not providing service to Govt. So the total bond is Rs 20 Lakhs. Similarly, open candidates getting admitted in 3 years MD/MS course in Govt. of West Bengal colleges shall have to provide an indemnity bond to the effect that they will serve three years after completion of the course, else they will pay Rs. 10 Lakhs per year not providing service to the Govt. So, total bond is Rs. 30 Lakhs.

The in-service candidates of Dept: of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, have to provide an indemnity bond at the respective Dept branch that is stated in the extant trainee reserve rule (Medical / Dental).

Candidates getting admission to private colleges/trust colleges / central institutes have to submit the bond/bank guaranty as per the requirement of the said college (preference to be given to candidate's choice for providing bond/bank guaranty). Therefore, submission of documents, requisite fees and bonds are mandatory for admission. Duee to the present festive situation where a candidate is unable to submit a bond (notarized in non-judicial stamp paper with derny paper as required of not less than Rs. 100), then an undertaking may be accepted by the admitting college that candidate will provide such bond within 15 days from the day of admission, else the seat shall be considered as vacated and shall go to the subsequent round of counselling as available in the counselling schedule.

The candidates applying for SC /ST /OBC/OBC A/OBC B/EWS will have to produce the caste certificate, and if they fail to do so, they will be considered in the unreserved category. PwD candidates will have to submit the disability certificate; if they fail to do so, they will not be considered in the PwD category.

All admission will be secured through the NIC (National Informatics Centre) server provided to the admitting colleges by the counselling committee mandatorily within the scheduled time frame of admission. Candidate must also obtain one copy of the server-generated admission/cancellation letter as applicable. Otherwise, their admission shall not be considered, and the said seat comes to subsequent rounds as a vacant seat.

Further, WBMCC has notified that If a candidate is not satisfied with the seat after admission, they may physically appear before the college authority personally for seat surrender/resignation, and such slip shall also be generated through the NIC server by the concerned college else such seat shall not appear in the subsequent round as vacant seat.

The admission desk/kiosk of the following private medical and dental colleges are arranged in the premises of Calcutta National Medical College Kolkata for round 1: KPC Medical College; 10 City Medical College; ICARE Haldia; Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Science; J1MS Budge Budge and Gurunanak Dental College; Haldia Dental College.

The one Dermatology seat in PG state quota open in RG Kar Medical College isis kept reserved until the High Court decides the writ petition. Consequently seat matrix is modified and published. The admission is rescheduled. The last date for entry is 17th October 2022 from 10 am till 6 pm as per server time.
