NEET PG, MDS Counselling 2023: UP DGME Releases Revised Schedule for Mop-up Round, details

Uttar Pradesh: The Director General of Medical Education of Uttar Pradesh (UP DGME) has released the revised time schedule for the online mop-up round for UP NEET PG and MDS 2023 admissions.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that the Government of India reduced NEET PG and MDS qualifying percentile for PG Medical/Dental admissions to all catagories. 

The revised schedule includes important dates such as online registration, deposition of registration and security money, merit list declaration, online choice filling, allotment result declaration, and downloading of allotment letters and admission. Eligibility for the mop-up round is limited to candidates who have not been allotted any seat in the first and second rounds of counseling or through the All India quota counseling.

Candidates must register online and pay a registration fee and security money. Those who have already deposited security money in the previous rounds are not required to do so again.

• Candidates should assess their eligibility on their own according to the G.O (Government Order)/ Brochure of UP NEET PG-2023.

• Those candidates who have registered themselves as per the previously released timetable for the mop-up round UP NEET PG-2023, there is no need to register again.

• Only those candidates will be eligible for the mop-up round, who have not been allotted any seat through the first and second round of counseling of UP NEET PG-2023

• Candidates allotted through first or second round of counseling of UP NEET PG-2023 and candidates admitted through any round of All India quota counseling will not be eligible for the Mop-up round.

• To participate in mop-up round, it will be mandatory for all eligible candidates to register themselves online on the website https://upneet.gov.in by depositing the registration fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. Two thousand only).

• Security Money Rs. 30,000/-(Rs. Thirty thousand only) for Govt. Medical/Dental Colleges, Rs. 2,00,000/-(Rs. Two lakhs only) for private medical colleges and Rs.l,00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh only) for private dental colleges is mandatory to be deposited online by the candidates.

• Such un-allotted candidates from Round 1 & Round 2 UP NEET PG 2023 counseling, whose Security money has already been deposited, are not required to deposit the Security money again for the Mop-up Round.

• All information/updates related to UP NEET PG 2023 counseling will be uploaded on website https://upneet.gov.in and www.dgme.up.gov.in
