NEET SS Counselling 2023: MCC issues corrigendum on Resignation without forfeiture for INI SS allotted candidates, Details
Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the corrigendum related to the resignation of INI SS allotted candidates without forfeiture of seats.
"INI-allotted candidates who want to RESIGN/ NOT REPORT their Round-1 seat allotted through MCC should send their INI-SS RANK LETTER along with the following undertaking (Copy attached) to MCC on email id: colleges.superspeciality@gmail.com up to 10:00 A.M of 30.11.2023. Candidates who send emails along with required documents will only be allowed to RESIGN/ NOT REPORT ON ALLOTTED SEAT WITHOUT FORFEITURE up to 05:00 P.M of 03.12.2023. However, such candidates will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of SS Counselling 2023 being conducted by MCC," states the corrigendum issued by the MCC.
The resignation facility will be provided from 02:00 P.M of 30.11.2023 upto 05:00 P.M of 03.12.2023. As per requests of candidates, resignation cannot be extended further since counselling is time time-bound matter and has to be conducted within time limits prescribed by NMC, the notice added.
This notice has been issued in reference to Notice dated 28.11.2023 published on MCC website regarding resignation requests from candidates who have been allotted seats through 1 st Round seat allocation of INI-SS Entrance Examination conducted by AIIMS for admission in D.M/ M.Ch/ MD(HA) courses for INIs namely AIIMS New Delhi & other participating AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS and SCTIMST.
Previously, the candidates were asked to send their INI SS allotment letter, and now the candidates are asked to send their INI SS rank card. In addition, the candidates were allowed to resign till 30.11.2023, but now, 3 more days have been granted.
The previous notice stated that "As per counselling scheme, resignation is not allowed Round-1 onwards in SS Counselling , however, in larger interest of candidates, the competent authority has decided to allow resignation without forfeiture for seats allotted to such candidates in Round-1 of SS Counselling 2023 conducted by MCC. INI allotted candidates who want to resign their Round-1 seat allotted through MCC should send their INI-SS allotment letter along with following undertaking (Copy attached) to MCC on email id: colleges.superspeciality@gmail.com upto 11:00 A.M of 29.11.2023. Candidates who send mails along with required documents will only be allowed to resign upto 05:00 P.M of 30.11.2023. However, they will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of SS Counselling 2023 being conducted by MCC. The resignation facility will be provided from 02:00 P.M of 29.11.2023 upto 05:00. P.M of 30.11.2023".
Candidates who are allotted in INIs and wish to resign their seats may approach their allotted college to resign and collect their original documents within the stipulated time. It should be ensured by the candidates that the resignation letter is generated ‘Online’ from the MCC portal by the college authorities. Any offline resignation taken by the college will be treated as ‘Null & Void’. The INI-allotted candidates who do not report on their allotted seat will be allowed Free Exit only if they send mail along with the required documents within the stipulated time.
