NEET SS Counselling: MCC adds 6 seats to special mop up round, details
Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has added 6 seats resigned by the petitioners in the mop-up round of NEET-SS counselling 2022-23.
As per the notice, the Hon’ble Supreme court has directed MCC, DGHS to include these seats. The relief granted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court is specific to the petitioners & Medical Counselling Committee, DGHS. It will not entertain any other request by college or NEET- SS candidates to include seats.
Further, the eligible candidates for NEET-SS mop-up round 2022-23, as per notice dated 13.2.2023, may opt for these seats.

The Medical Counselling Committee is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. It allows seats online based on the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Factors considered during allotment are merit, reservation eligibility, and the preference list submitted by the candidate.
